Cardiac CTA

A noninvasive scan of the heart's arteries — detailed coronary imaging without a catheter.

Coronary CT angiography (cardiac CTA) images the arteries of the heart in exquisite detail using a rapid CT scan and IV contrast — no catheters, no recovery time. It is a powerful tool for evaluating chest pain and detecting coronary artery disease early, and current cardiology guidelines endorse it as a first-line test for appropriate patients.

Our subspecialty-trained radiologists interpret cardiac CTA alongside coronary calcium scoring, giving referring physicians a clear picture of both the presence and the severity of coronary disease.

When cardiac CTA helps

  • Evaluation of chest pain
  • Detection of coronary artery disease
  • Coronary calcium scoring for risk assessment
  • Anatomy assessment before procedures
